I’m Taralynn, the maker and wearer of all hats here at Playful Day Yarns! In 2018 I began playing with color, and adding it to yarn. I knew immediately that I had found my biggest creative passion yet! (And let me tell you there have been A LOT!) Above all, I am a curious and playful human, maker and dreamer. Ultimately I am finally doing exactly what I have always dreamt of… to work hard and make making art, my living! Not an easy task, but I couldn’t have it any other way. I love what I do! Thank you for helping me support my dreams and keeping them alive!

You can usually find me hanging with my family (1 husband, 2 kids and 2 dogs) at home or in my backyard dye shed. In 2023 I also moved into my studio at Barn 5400 which is a whole new venture for me and one I have dreamed of for a long time.
